Introduction to the Project

Tasheen is a lifestyle influencer, entrepreneur, and the founder of Taste Retreat, a Forbes 30 Under 30 brand specializing in event decor. While she had an established presence as an entrepreneur, she was unsure about the direction of her personal brand as a content creator. Initially, she focused on fashion and food-related content, but after working together, we discovered that beauty and lifestyle were untapped opportunities for her. My role was to refine her content strategy, establish her as a credible beauty and lifestyle influencer, and create a balance between organic content and high-value brand collaborations.

Challenges Encountered

  • Tasheen was primarily recognized for fashion and had not yet built a strong presence in the beauty and lifestyle space.

  • Her content lacked consistency and a clear brand narrative, making it harder to attract premium collaborations.

  • She was hesitant about phone-shot content, which limited her ability to create more spontaneous and relatable content.

  • Developed a content strategy that strategically positioned her as a beauty and lifestyle influencer while maintaining her stronghold in fashion.

  • Created a structured content calendar that aligned with trends and audience behavior, ensuring her content resonated with both followers and potential brand partners.

  • Managed content planning, brand briefs, and storytelling to create a seamless, high-quality feed that attracted premium beauty brands.

  • Guided her on incorporating more organic, self-shot content to improve engagement and relatability.

  • Worked closely with her manager to align her collaborations with long-term brand positioning..

  • My content strategy paved the way for high-end beauty brands to recognize and collaborate with Tasheen, helping her build a beauty and lifestyle portfolio alongside her fashion identity.
